FORMS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL CONTESTS: 

YOUNG MUSICIAN’S COMPETITION

Deadline:  March 1

RULES OF COMPETITION & REQUIREMENTS: (if you have entered before, you are not eligible to enter again).  Completed entry form, brief resume and a CD. Cassette, or other digital format.  Resume should include all your academic AND musical achievements.  The entry must be received by March 1s, 2022.  Your Submission MUST CONTAIN 2 PERFORMANCES: (submitted materials will not be returned)

If the participant is under 18, the entry must include a CFWC Minor’s Consent and Release form and Publicity Release form completed by the participant’s parent or legal guardian.

CLUB NEWSLETTER CONTEST

CLUB NEWSLETTER CONTESTS: Submit 3 copies of your best club or district newsletter published in the prior calendar year to Sonja Hults, CFWC Chair by February 1 (postmark). Include a cover sheet containing club/district name, # members, newsletter editor‘s contact information AND a 250 word narrative on usage, distribution, frequency of newsletter, and other pertinent information.  *GFWC also sponsors a club-only newsletter contest. For details, visit GFWC.org (search ?Contests?). GFWC contest entries are due by March 15 (postmark) and submitted directly to GFWC, 1734 N. St. NW, Washington, DC 20036. GFWC Award is $50.00.

COMMUNITY IMPACT PROGRAM AWARD

Community Impact Program Award

The newly updated GFWC Community Impact Program Award offers GFWC clubs financial incentive to implement projects designed to impact a specific problem in their community. The CIP Award is designed to accommodate the many ways that clubs currently function and to provide added flexibility in the implementation of up to three projects that have a meaningful impact on a particular problem, from “done in a day” efforts to those that could require more rigorous planning and implementation.

The Report Judging will be accomplished within the district   The process has been organized by the 1st VP-Dean Nancy.

2021 12-29 Judging 2021 Narratives in Palomar District

DATES INFORMATION AND DEADLINES:

December 29, 2021 – 1st VP-Dean Nancy sent a copy of the Judging Instructions 2021 and Instructions to Judges to all club Presidents, Deans, and Judging Coordinators.

January 2, 2022 – Thank you for appointing a Judging Coordinator for your club and notifying Nancy.

January 25, 2022 – Club Narratives, Statistical Form, and Affiliate Data Report are due to Palomar District 1st VP-Dean Nancy B Jones   11nanb.jones74@gmail.com   All clubs are required to complete and submit the Statistical Form.

NEW: CLUB AWARD ENTRY COVER SHEET  forms for your narrative reports are available with three options: WORD, pdf, and interactive (fillable) at   CFWC.org (NOT facebook) and click on  reports . 

STATISTICAL FORMS are on the same page and are available as pdf or fillable.

AFFILIATE DATA REPORT for your work with the GFWC-adopted non-profits, is on the same page, pdf or fillable.   Reports must be typed, not hand-written, and submitted electronically.

January 31, 2022 – 1st VP-Dean Nancy will email to club Presidents the submitted club narratives to be judged along with the judging protocol and judging results reporting forms.

February 28, 2022 – District judging results from District clubs are due back to 1st VP-Dean Nancy. THANK YOU!

April 26, 2022 – Awards will be presented at the Palomar District Federation Annual Convention.
