RESPONSIBILITIES

The Recording Secretary is a member of the Board of Directors, Executive Board & Executive Committee (voting member).

Bylaws, Article III, Section 3f – The RECORDING SECRETARY shall keep a true and correct record of the minutes of all meetings of Palomar District, including those of the Executive Board and the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors. She shall submit a copy of the minutes to the President within seven days. She shall perform such other duties as may be required.

  • Keeps a true and correct record of the minutes of all meetings of the District.
  • Forwards the minutes to those who have been appointed to review and correct the minutes.
  • Submits a copy of the minutes to the President within 7 days of all meetings- Board of Directors, Executive Board and Executive Committee.
  • She may be asked to perform other duties.

CORRESPONDING SECRETARY

The Corresponding Secretary is appointed by the District President and is a voting member of the Board of Directors & Executive Board

 Bylaws, Article III, Section 3g – The CORRESPONDING SECRETARY shall:

  • Maintain a correct list of all member clubs, all District Officers, Chairmen of Standing Committees, Departments and Programs, Special Appointments, and Past District Presidents, and all General and State Officers and Chairmen residing in the District, all of whom shall constitute the official list of the District Federation (the official roster of the district)
  • She shall send notices of all official meetings of the Palomar District Executive Board to its members.
  • She shall compile and complete the Palomar District Yearbook (this task may be done by a committee).
