ATTENTION Palomar Chairmen-2018 Judging revised instructions

Note from Bev York, Palomar District Dean

Just a slight tweak to the instructions you were given on Tuesday (Jan 22, 2019) for the Palomar District 2018 narratives: On page 3 of the “Guide for Judging Process” under Submit Final Score Card to District Dean,  ignore the line ” Submit CFWC Judging Placement Form to appropriate CFWC Chairman y their deadline.”  Ignore that line!  Do not mail the CFWC Judging Placement Form to the appropriate CFWC Chairman — there  is no need for you to mail anything to CFWC this year!  I’m mailing each CFWC Chair copies of the narratives appropriate to her program, to be judged there for winners at the state level.   (That’s why I needed 7 copies of each narrative: one for you and one for me, and 5 for CFWC.) You’ll judge for winners at District level and we’ll award winners at the District convention.  CFWC will award their winners at the state convention.  They don’t need to know who our district-level winners are.
When your judges have completed their work and you have completed the Final Score Card and the Judging Placement form, either mail the score card and placement form to me or perhaps we can meet somewhere mutually convenient to turn them over to me.  I have a copy of each narrative for the District records; if you wish to keep your copies, you may do so, or you can give them back to me with the judging results.
