Palomar District Federation, CFWC was established on June 1, 1958 and are members of the GFWC California Federation of Women’s Clubs (CFWC), CFWC Area D, GFWC Western States Region (Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming), and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

Mission Statement

The GFWC California Federation of Women’s Clubs is part of an International Community Service Organization which provides education, training and interaction opportunities for volunteers who are committed to individual growth and community improvement to enrich the quality of life throughout California and the world.

The Goals of Palomar District are to

Unite – We provide diverse opportunities for members to connect and collaborate through meetings, fundraisers, special events, workshops, our annual convention, and District and Club newsletters.

Promote – GFWC and CFWC endorsed Community Service Projects; innovative membership recruitment, retention, and orientation strategies; and the CFWC Area D Membership Conference in October/November.

Offer Training in Club Management – including comprehensive guidance on CFWC Year-end Report completion and effective leadership practices.

Recognize – Outstanding achievements and contributions of our members at the annual District Convention and Art Show (April), CFWC Convention (May), and GFWC Convention (June).
